Theory in Order to Shed Light is a diptych made of two felt screens. On one side a fictional description of a scene set in an elevator shaft is cut out. The setting resembles the space where the work was first exhibited; the Contemporary and Modern Art Museum of Trento and Rovereto, Italy. On the other side there is a rectangular cut out that reproduces a ‚white frame‘. The light passes through the felt and projects on the wall, where the shape of letters and geometrical shape become visible. The light passes through and behind the screen and reinterprets some of the cinematographic historic avant-garde visionary ideas, breaking the limits imposed by the cinematic frame and the screen itself.
